The lid is woven interlocking round reed and woven with black round reed and black seagrass. An impressive must have! ZIG ZAG ELEGANCE Taught at GBA and Basket Fest, 2007
This is my third zig zagging basket using natural and dyed seagrass, working both at the same time, to create one of the most unique baskets you will ever weave. It begins with a rectangular slotted base and almost shapes itself with 1/4" flat oval spokes. Height is 7-1/2". The zig zagging is bordered by triple twining in pairs and the woven bow and "hand made with love" charm are a perfect accent to the elegance of this basket.

Begin this fun basket with a traditional base woven untraditionally with continuous seagrass as its fillers. Using triple twining to begin, you will then learn this zig zag technique interlocking natural and dyed seagrass working both at the same time.
